A portfolio managed by SFP saves around 850 tons of CO₂ per year – across around 110 buildings, with the existing heating systems, controlled more precisely instead of replaced.
Anyone who manages pension fund money bears an enormous responsibility and decides accordingly on a factual basis. The first impetus came from a modeling exercise: it quantified the savings potential in the portfolio so convincingly that the pilot was decided quickly. After that, those responsible for the portfolio managed by SFP let the measured results decide.
They were clear enough: since July 2023, ECCO2 and the installation partner Cablex have been equipping the entire portfolio, around 110 buildings. Projected impact: 850 tons less CO₂ per year. With the existing heating systems, controlled more precisely instead of replaced.
