Privacy information for tenants
At ECCO2 we take data protection seriously. We are commissioned by the owner to optimize the heating in your building in order to reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. For this purpose, we measure the room temperature, the humidity and the CO₂ level in the apartments and process this information in order to refine the heating settings. This data is anonymized at source. The data transmission from the sensor to our servers is end-to-end encrypted. The data collected by ECCO2 is retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfill our task and is then permanently and documentedly deleted.
