Asset Value Dialog: Blackbox in Business – Recap of the Lunch Event in Zurich
Our first Asset Value Dialog took place in Zurich. Around 30 participants from the real estate industry and our partner network discussed AI in M&A, AI adoption in companies, and transparency in the boiler room — followed by a lively lunch.

Zurich, May 2026
Last week, our first Asset Value Dialog took place. We shed light on several blackboxes in business — and did so in a very pleasant setting.
Around 30 participants from the real estate industry and our partner network had the opportunity to learn more about the use of artificial intelligence in M&A (many thanks to Roland Wittmann), the adoption of AI in companies (merci Manuela Hug), and of course in the boiler room (ECCO2 Solutions AG).
The focused panel discussion was excellently moderated by Daniel Gasser and led to a lively exchange over lunch.
Three perspectives on the blackbox
Manuela Hug — Co-Founder, KI Power Swiss
AI in the enterprise as a blackbox: Where teams fail — and how they win. How can organisations build AI competence effectively? Where are the typical pitfalls when introducing AI — and what separates the teams that succeed from those that don't?
Roland Wittmann — Partner, Ramus & Company
Data in M&A: What a blackbox really costs buyers and sellers. How can better data sharpen valuation processes and M&A decisions? How can risks be identified earlier — and how does data transparency influence deal outcomes?
Markus Eberhard — CEO, ECCO2
Blackbox in the boiler room: How transparency in operations changes portfolio value. How does data transparency reduce operational costs, improve CAPEX decisions, and influence your Net Asset Value? Real-world insights from AI-driven heating optimisation across Swiss portfolios.
Thank you
Many thanks to all participants for the active exchange — and a very special thank you to Philipp Benker for the outstanding organisation.
Looking ahead: Second edition in H2 2026
Based on the broad and consistently positive feedback, we will host another Asset Value Dialog in the second half of 2026, exploring new aspects that increase the value of assets.
